Adventure Promotion

Tourism is big business in Ontario—a $21.3 billion dollar industry. And, adventure accounts for a large portion of the 148,000 tourism business in our province. In Renfrew County alone we have 2.4 million hectares of captivating wilderness between the Ottawa River and Algonquin Park. When you combine that with 900 lakes and four major river systems, our area makes for a pretty impressive adventure destination. Over the past five years Goldfish has played an active role in promoting tourism and adventure in Renfrew and Lanark Counties—convincing those closer to home to plan staycations and those from miles away to come visit for the first time. We've even created navigational devices to help them get around while they're here. We like to think of ourselves as Adventure Ambassadors.

Ottawa Valley Tourism Official Roadmap

The Ottawa Valley Road Map is a navigational tool that’s used when exploring the scenic Ottawa Valley countryside. In 2013 and 2014 Goldfish has assisted the Ottawa Valley Tourist Association with the design and development of their adventure roadmap. It features a complete listing of member accommodations, attractions and events, outfitters, places to eat and much more. It’s a must have on your trip to the Ottawa Valley. Find the map and other valuable tourist resources on the OVTA web site.

Adventure Promotion Rack Cards

Rack Cards are like mini billboards that are inexpensive to produce and a valuable alternative resource to communicating your business. Think of them as a supplement to the internet. Think of them as inexpensive advertising.  Think of them as a way to attract visitors to your website and business location. A properly designed Rack Card from Goldfish provides a visual teaser that’s like a point of purchase display. You might want to consider adding one to your seasonal campaign. You often find them in hotels, restaurants, service stations, and visitor information centres.
