Board of Directors

SDTC is governed by a Board of Directors refecting the broad interests of the public, private and academic sectors in Canada. It is composed of 15 Directors, seven of whom are appointed by the Government of Canada and eight of whom are appointed by Members of the Foundation. Te Board has fve committees: the Audit and Grant Investment Committee, the Corporate Governance Committee, the Human Resources Committee, the Project Review Committee—NextGen Biofuels Fund, and the Project Review Committee—SD Tech Fund.

Directors of the Board are subject to confict of interest guidelines requiring them to declare potential conficts of interest and refrain from participating in any discussions regarding matters that could give rise to a confict of interest.
